Liquitidy started as a joke, when a typo turned “liquidity” into “liquitidy”, and we ended up buying the domain. We decided to make a legitimate project out of it.
Tidying up illiquid portfolios
Liquitidy focuses on acquiring residual venture capital and private equity holdings: the remaining investments in mature funds, individual private company stakes, and assets held in special purpose vehicles.
A portfolio’s last few positions can create a surprising amount of work. Reporting, administration and recurring costs continue long after most investments have been sold. Selling the remaining holdings can help their owners simplify a portfolio and, where possible, close the structures around it.
Building the website
We built the website with Codex, using GPT-6 Astra, with the design created by Claude Opus 5.5. The site introduces the project, explains the types of holdings we consider, and gives potential sellers a straightforward way to start a conversation.
The website is a Next.js app hosted on Vercel. The contact form uses Resend to deliver enquiries by email, with Google reCAPTCHA providing spam protection.
Technical details: Next.js, React and TypeScript; Vercel for hosting; Resend and Google reCAPTCHA for the contact form.
Coding assistant: Codex (GPT-6 Astra).
Design: Claude Opus 5.5.
